Wildlife World Simon King Wreath Nester

The Wildlife World Simon King Wreath Nester is a beautiful bird nesting spot for a variety of garden birds and has been developed in conjunction with TV's naturalist and wildlife cameraman Simon King. This safe and secure bird nester is suitable for all year round use as birds can choose to roost or shelter inside during cold weather, or use as a nest for their young during the breeding season.

This wreath nester has been created for small birds who favour an open style nesting environment, although this often comes with the threat of predators being able to gain access which is why this Wildlife World nester has been designed as a 'predator proof' bird nest box because the nesting space is covertly tucked behind the sidewall and covered by the roof to provide your feathered friends with a safe space to roost and nest.

The Simon King hand-woven wreath can easily be adorned with seasonal foliage as the weave and wire gaps provide an ideal surface for attaching twigs, sprigs, leaves and berries, and additional decorations can be added to help in camouflaging this nesting box to keep your garden birds safe. Decorating this wreath nester is also a fun activity to do with friends and family, or can be used as a thoughtful gift for someone creative.

As beautiful as the Simon King Wreath Nester looks, it does not come with the pictured decorations.

Siting:  

Attach this lightweight nester into hedges, ivy or trees using wire. Alternatively, attach the wreath to a wall using the hanging string or supplied spare loop of fixing wire. The base of the brushwood nester has a rattan landing platform and a low dividing wall separates the nesting space.

Maintenance:

Carefully remove nesting material in between breeding seasons. Alternatively, if wanting to attract bumblebees to nest then leave any leftover materials as this can be used to atttract bees. The decorative foliage may require regular replacement depending on the materials used and the effect you are trying to achieve. But we'll leave that up to you!
