When you receive your Squirrel Buster 750ml, the factory tension will be set to 70g so anything weighing over this will force the mesh shroud to close over the feeding ports, but you can simply adjust this to the maximum setting of 150g to allow more of your favourite garden birds to enjoy the contents. (The average weight of an adult Grey Squirrel is 400-600g).
When placing The Squirrel Buster 750ml in your garden, be sure that it is hanging at least 0.5m (1.5ft) away from a pole, branch or tree as squirrels may still be able to reach across and empty the contents without putting its weight on the feeder.
The Squirrel Buster needs to be at positioned at least 18" away from anything as a squirrel could stretch or jump.

They do what they are meant to do and allow only the smaller birds to feed. So no wood pigeons or magpies. Easy to fill and my garden is a happy place. The squirrels look at it and they know it is useless to try to get at the seed.2londoners 3 years agoBefore buying this bird feeder I had tried all sorts of anti squirrel busters & devices to protect my bird feeders from the glutton squirrels who roam around my garden. Nothing had defeated them as their problem solving ability and determination is truly amazing...But I installed this bird feeder about 10 days ago and so far so good, the little birds love it and the squirrels are incredibly frustrated...SUCCESS at last!! Squirrel Buster Standard Seed Feeder: Assembling Your Feeder
Read on for information on how to assemble the Squirrel Buster Feeder
1. Place the metal shroud over the feeder (you might want to fill it first!)
2. Take the hanger and insert the hooked end onto the top of the feeder.
3. Slide the green metal tube over the hanger hook.
4. That's it! Simply hang your feeder.
Squirrel Buster Standard Seed Feeder: Dismantling Your Feeder
Read on for information on how to disassemble the Squirrel Buster Feeder
1. Lift up the metal tube over the hanger.
2. Unhook the feeder.
3. Lift the metal cage off the seed tube.
4. That's it! You can now either fill your bird feeder with seed, or clean it.
