The Nuttery Oval Suet Block Cake/Fat Ball Feeder

This superb feeder designed in the UK by The Nuttery protects Fat Balls or Treat Blocks from  adult grey squirrels or Large Birds by preventing them reaching the food.  

Finished in a stunning green colour, the cage is made entirely from steel and the two hanging clips clamp the lid in place stopping it from being removed by squirrels.

The mesh feeder is easily removed from the centre of the feeder for easy filling and cleaning.

Holds two standard sized suet cakes or up to 4 standard size fat balls.

*A Note On Squirrel Protection

The Nuttery feeders can only protect against adult grey squirrels and large adult birds. Some birds may not fit through the bars but could manage to get their head into the feeder.  Adolescent young squirrels could squeeze into the feeder due to their flexiility. The young squirrels look very similar to adults.  This is a temporary seasonal issue.

You may also find that adolescent jackdaws, crows and pigeons may find their way in  The bars on these feeders cannot be made smaller to protect from adolescent or red squirrels as this would pose a risk to the birds.

A deterrant of chilli flakes mixed in with the nuts or seeds will deter the squirrels whilst being completely harmless to the birds.
