Sunflower Heart Chips

Sunflower Heart Chips are normal hearts kibbled into smaller pieces. This makes it easier for birds to feed upon them. As the seeds have been broken they are less likely to germinate and cause a mess under your feeders.

Due to the process involved to chip the sunflower hearts, a very small amount of black sunflower husk can sometimes be left attached to the small chips and may fall off when in transit. This will not harm or impair the nutritional content of the sunflower heart chips.

This year's harvest of sunflower has been impacted by the weather which has meant that the seeds are smaller than average and the resulting chips are small albeit still offering great nutrition for birds.
