Keep peanuts out of reach from marauding squirrels with this innovative feeder. With a high-capacity of 750ml, the unique design of this feeder gives your birds a stable perching area to feed. The adjustable tension spring means you can adapt the feeder to exclude squirrels or larger birds like pigeons when they attempt to eat the contents.

When you receive your Squirrel Buster Peanut, the factory tension will be set to 70g so anything weighing over this will force the mesh shroud to close over the feeding area, but you can simply adjust this to 150g allowing more of your favourite garden birds to enjoy the contents. (The average weight of an adult Grey Squirrel is 400-600g).

When placing the Squirrel Buster Peanut in your garden, be sure that it is hanging at least 0.5m (1.5ft) away from a pole, branch or tree as squirrels may still be able to reach across and empty the contents without putting its weight on the feeder.

The Squirrel Buster needs to be at positioned at least 18" away from anything as a squirrel could stretch or jump.

Lifetime Manufacturers Guarantee

The feeder comes with a lifetime manufacturer's guarantee. For more information please see: https://www.squirrel-buster.com/

Does the trick Review by Sam
After putting this peanut feeder for three days the squirrels have given up trying to eat ANY of the food I put out for the birds. Even the fat balls, which are child's play for a squirrel to get to remain untouched!. Everything is lasting four times longer. The only birds who have stayed away so far seem to be the spotted woodpeckers, but hopefully they will get the hang of it.
It's quite pricey, but if it lasts it will save me money in peanuts in the long run. I also have the seed feeder version which has deterred squirrels in the same way. (Posted on 11/09/2020)

    Excellent Review by Irene
This feeder does as it says and is a squirrel deterrent but only if hanging independently. From a feeding pole, the squirrel can hang off the feeding pole to still be able to take seeds or bits. I now hang my feeder from a pergola which is perfect. A little expensive but strong and sturdy. I now have five feeders and some are three to four years old. I have bought cheaper feeders but usually eaten through or broken by the squirrels so in the long term these feeders are worth it. (Posted on 01/09/2020)

The most squirrel proof feeder I've found! Review by Quinton
It really seems squirrel and other pest proof. I recommend but would like to suggest a few improvements. I use suet granules not nuts.

The outside is metal but the inside is plastic and doesnt look that strong, Ok if you take care. spare parts are available.. I bent the bar by which it hangs though it still works. I cant see why the inside is split into 3 sections, makes it fiddly to fill and takes up room. Its large but only holds a moderate amount of food. More important the food openings, are close together and small so I only get upto 2 birds at a time where my previous (non-squirrel proof) feeder had upto 4--increase the size without making the feeder larger and I would give 5*. I'd also like at least the option of adding a saucer to minimise spillage. I've drilled and wired a plant saucer. (Posted on 06/06/2020)

    Perfect Review by Irene
I have been using similar feeders in this range for years and have been happy with the quality. This is a little expensive but if hung away from anything that the squirrel can reach from works perefectly. I would say it is not suitable for bird feeding stations but works very well hung from a pergola or something similar. I now feel sorry for the squirrels!! (Posted on 20/05/2020)

Works well Review by Ali Perham-Marchant
Does exactly what it says. We no longer have to replace the peanuts as a result of the squirrels but the birds are able to use it easily. Make sure the arm it hangs from is sufficiently long to ensure squirrels can’t cling to pole and use it (Posted on 05/01/2020)
