We're excited to introduce a new color option for our popular Squirrel Proof* bird seed feeder, the Pest Free. Due to the Pest Free's overwhelming popularity, we created a stunning new pale sage green "Enchanted Green" colorway that blends seamlessly into any garden. This feeder offers great value by effectively deterring both squirrels and larger adult birds.
When they try to access the feeder, the ports automatically cut off, preventing them from using it. This innovative feeder also boasts the following fantastic features:
- Spring loaded ports which shut off when a Squirrel or Larger bird tries to use the feeder.
- Perspex baffle protecting the feeding ports.
- Metal Perches.
- High seed capacity.
- Heavy duty metal lid and base (plastic inner), with a strong polycarbonate seed tube.
- Sturdy metal clasps on the lid for closure.

This feeder can accommodate up to 1.6kg of regular seed or 1.4kg of Sunflower Chips. The polycarbonate tube keeps the contents dry, while the perspex baffle not only deters squirrels but also shields the feeding birds from the elements such as the rain.
The base can be easily removed and reattached by using the metal push buttons for cleaning.
To ensure the feeder can work as designed, please make sure it is positioned at least 46cm away from any other feeder or point where a squirrel could cling to and reach across from. Ideally, site the feeder at least 2m away from trees, shrubs and other cover that cats may use to pounce from.

A note on Squirrel Protection*
* Although this feeder is squirrel and large bird proof we cannot guarantee that the juvenile squirrels and younger large birds which are far more agile and lighter than the adult species wont be able to activate the ports. Juveniles and young are more of a problem during the Spring and Summer months.
