The natural log tit nesting box is a hollowed out log complete with bark intact and a small entrance hole ideal for the Blue Tit’s and other small hole nesting species.
The natural air dried FSC certified wooden logs has low thermal conductivity providing excellent insulation for nesting birds. The wood is beautifully pale in colour and the bark is a mottled brown colour. It is remarkably light and strong and resistant to cracking and splitting.
The hinged lid is easily lifted by loosening the securing screw to allow for cleaning and inspection.
The nest box should be hung from the hole in the wooden back plate at the rear of the nest box.
As the product is made from natural wood the appearance may vary due to seasonal availability of timber or environmental factors.
