The Daisy Nest Box is specifically designed to accommodate a variety of small bird species, including blue tits, nuthatches, pied flycatchers, redstarts, tree sparrows, coal tits, great tits, house sparrows, and marsh tits. It is equipped with a predator-proof 32mm entrance hole.
For optimal use, mount the nest box 2-4 meters high on a tree or wall in a shaded location out of direct sunlight. Clean the nest box annually between September and January when unoccupied by simply removing the back panel and washing with boiling water. This allows for thorough sanitization during the non-breeding season.
