The feeder can be hung from a feeding station or a tree branch. Place your feeder in a safe position, where the wild birds have a good vantage point and are out of reach of predators.

To access the feeder tube, unclip the lid to release, open the lid fully until it locks open (the lid will remain in an open position with the lid facing away from where it clips into place), fill the feeder tube with the appropriate feed and then release the lid from the fixed open position by pushing the lid toward the rim of the feeder tube and clip back into position.
