Feldy Golden Food Balls are a bespoke product formulated to deliver beneficial performance. To enhance bird life rather than filling the birds with indigestible raw materials sometimes found in the cheaper fat balls.
These larger, 100g suet balls are 100% nutritious and digestible, and their bigger size means they will keep your feathered friends well fed for longer.
A wild bird will eat approximately 30% of its bodyweight per day. A Blue Tit weighing 20 grams will eat up to 7 grams of food per day. Every gram needs to count towards the bird’s daily requirements.
They contain over 12 totally natural ingredients for consumer safety and confidence. All the ingredients found in the suet balls are used in the human food chain, all sourced from local UFAS and Red Tractor approved suppliers.
The addition of Prairie Meal enhances the Food Balls colour to a distinctive golden colour to appeal to the bird’s natural sight recognition.
The Golden Balls will attract a wider variety of birds into your garden naturally as they contain good levels of concentrated energy and protein. Birds you can expect to see; Great Tits, Blue Tits, Long Tailed Tits, Robins, Blackbirds, Chaffinches, Sparrows and Great Spotted Woodpeckers.
These Feldy suet balls contain no palm oil, instead a pure refined white fat. With no calcium fillers as binding agents, so a low ash content which is indigestible for wild birds.

Feldy do not add any fillers or binders to their products; they are made up of completely natural ingredients which are digestible to all wild birds. As such, there may be a slight change to the texture of the fat balls during extreme temperatures due to the natural ingredients; for example frosty conditions can make the balls go harder in texture. The hardness of the food balls does ensure that they are durable in the rain and will not end up with a mushy consistency like some suet fat balls that may have a much softer texture.
Due to the nature of the product up to 20% of the balls can break up in transit.
