Good quality pole but had to make some changes.
1. I bought an extra pole to make it higher off the ground as so much of the length disappeared into the ground socket (bought separately).
2. I wrapped a bit of tape around the end of each section to make the connection tighter, as the whole thing wobbled and was unstable without it.
3. I added a home made baffle about 4.5 feet up from the ground to try and deter the squirrel. It worked. If you put it far enough away from trees, fences, sheds etc.so they can't jump across to it, they have to try and go up the pole. Unless a baffle is fitted they will reach the food.
Happy with my purchase now. (Posted on 19/05/2020)

The item is expensive but robust in construction. (Posted on 26/01/2018)
The Feeder pole with peanut feeder attached looks lovely in the garden. It is great that the feeder and pole are both green so blend in well with the garden. Looks much nicer than the usual black feeders and poles. (Posted on 18/05/2017)
