How to Feed Dried Mealworms

Dried Mealworms are a really versatile food and can be fed to your birds in multiple ways. Just some of these options include:

• Soak the mealworms in water (we recommend soaking them overnight so they become nice and chubby) to make them extra juicy.
• Add the dried mealworms to another seed mix (such as our excellent Premium Gold Mix)
• Place the dried mealworms on a flat bird table feeder
• On the garden floor for attracting ground-feeding birds
• Add them to a dried mealworm feeder

Which Birds Love Dried Mealworms?

Dried Mealworms are loved by many birds including; Blackbirds, Starlings, Robins, Dunnocks, Blue tits, Great tits, Coal tits, Wrens, Chaffinches, House sparrows

Are Dried Mealworms Safe for Hedgehogs?

Yes, Mealworms make a delicious treat for our spikey friends, however it is safer for them to be fed in moderation. Hedgehogs should not consume more than four Mealworms a week as there can be several risks involved when incorporated too much in their diet. Calci Worms are a nutritious alternative to feed our nocturnal friends.
