The Astro's removable back panel ensures easy cleaning, while the two included galvanized plates facilitate simple installation. Constructed from larch, a naturally water-resistant wood grown in UK forests, the Astro will develop a weathered appearance over time.
Made in Stoke-on-Trent by Wildlife and Birdcare Nature Recovery Project (CIC) a not for profit organisation that not only help to save the crisis of nature, but are also a licensed training provider for SEN colleges to support young people with autism or additional needs leaving college to secure jobs their future.
To thoroughly clean the nest box during the non-breeding season, remove the back panel and wash it with boiling water annually between September and January, when the box is unoccupied.
