Bird Photo Competition

As many keen bird feeders also love to snap records of their garden visitors, in August 2009 we held a competition for the best garden bird photo. We were soon inundated with pictures of enormous variety - showing common and rare birds, some photos outstandingly beautiful and others affording funny glimpses of bird behaviour. The prize was a 25kg sack of the winner's favourite bird food.
